Here's an idea...Tell the marketing director NO WAY!  Java applets suck.

Better yet, gather up a bunch of reasons why applets suck:

	- slow to load
	- incompatible
	- crashes browsers
	- scroller applets look cheesy

Just because the higher-ups ask for it...you're the one who's going to be
responsible for replacing it (once users start complaining).  Following
orders doesn't abdicate responsibility...

Just a thought.
