hiya j!

well, serious database modeling, for like amazon.com or something is not for
the fainthearted. but your simple database site, say a very small training
sign-up database in Access 2000 or whatever, can be very surprisingly easy.

i was in your situation, and i've made several dynamic websites now with UD.
not a problem. first, do the standard UD tutorial. this teaches you just
about 85% of what you'll ever need to know.

once you have an idea of what's going on, then you're ready to rock. you
have to know what your server is/will be before you choose your jsp/asp
whatever. because your server has to support whatever language you choose,
and you have to do some minor configuration to your machine so you can
create a local database connection for development and testing.

honestly, it's not rocket science with UD4.

good luck,

f
