Hi Gang,


I'm trying to get my feet wet by setting up an MS 'development environment'
on a win2k box.

IIS seems to be running fine.  I can run a small ASP test page with no
problem.

Visual InterDev 6.0 seems to be working - it comes up anyway.

But I can't start a new 'project' in Visual InterDev because it isn't
recognizing my server name.  I type it in and get a worthless hex error.

I downloaded the latest Visual Studio service pack 5 patch and installed it
... nada.


Any clues?
