Sure, but isn't it the role of a responsible society to try to prevent
abuse that leads to harm?

Now I know Image Theft ain't up there with the biggest crimes in the
world but it's the slow insidious degradation of morality that I object
to.

My point, still made, is that just because it's easy, and we've been
doing it for ages, doesn't make it right.  I object to a body as well
recognised as MS promoting image theft as a *feature* of their new
browser.

For some people MSN is the Internet and Computers are made by Windows.

All I see here is a fresh generation of web users thinking it's okay to
take stuff from my web site and use it anyway they like.

I wish this world would make this possible, because my life would be
real easy.   When the client says make me a site that looks like
evolt.org  I'd just go steal it.

But the world says you can't do that, with good reason.

Technically I can prevent images being stolen or reused, but doing this
makes the user experience more cumbersome or less enjoyable.  I'd rather
see the movers and shakers take more responsibility is all.
