[thelist] Linux to NT migration...

It is a host issue. I work for a non-profit and we get a very reasonable
deal on hosting from a local company.
We were looking to migrate to their "standard platform" (NT,IIS,ASP etc..)
If we get into co - location it becomes another 300 bones a month.

So I am still back to my original question

It has been ordained to me from those up high that we must be assimilated
into the Microsoft fold.

Our site relies heavily on virtual include statements and also on Apache
server environment variables.

(eg: <!--#set var="title" value="titlename" -->  <!--#include
virtual="/global/head.shtml" -->)

I see no mention of server environment variables or virtual server side
includes in My
IIS 4 book. Are these supported features in IIS4 (what about later
versions?) or am I going
to have to rewrite these statements to accommodate this switch?

TIA malcolm
