Well, yes... if you "Reload" content then it will come down from the server
again. Then it goes into the browser cache. If you jump back to a page that
had menus then the data would need to be read again, but this usually isn't
perceptible.

I remember reading some conversation a few months ago about one browser
stuffing multiple copies of similar documents into its cache, but didn't
retain the details because the newsgroup exchange was verbose-yet-unclear,
and because it seems like it would be a self-limiting problem anyway...
such a browser would just start clearing its cache more quickly, that's
all. That's the closest link I have to the final phrase of the above,
sorry.

The macromedia.fireworks newsgroup might have folks who could better
recognize a situation from the description, though.
