[thelist] ColdFusion and PhP

Having never used any of these tools, how can you so easily dismiss them?
How can you say one is easier to debug than the other if you haven't worked
with both? or that you aren't learning anything by working with these tools?

I personally think Coldfusion is an ideal solution for rapid deployment and
flexibility - it's fantastic!  Furthermore, you can't beat the ease of using
Dreamweaver to design complex tables and/or graphic layouts.

I could go on and on about the numerous benefits of these tools that you
have disregarded, but it's kind of pointless.  We all have our own
preferences and ideas about site design and development tools -  to each his
own...
