True as long as you're one of the shareholders. In many large companies,
what happens is that they declare it an outstanding success anyway,
and forget to compare the results against the potential.

"We did great - but no-one understands this Internet thing
anyway, so the consumers are messed up. It's all their fault"

Usually it takes a new staffmember with a fair amount of
political clout to say "No, sorry, not good enough".
