Just a guess, but check the Mac's "Date" control panel and see if "Daylight
Savings Time" is checked. If it is, try this for grins: clear the DST flag
and reset the time to the current time.

One hour off like that just makes me suspect IE's grabbing the unmodified
time. Perhaps it's necessary to do the DST mod yourself?
