As Scott said, the registries (it's not just NetSol) pretty much need
to know that your DNS servers are a going concern, which means
registered with them by name. Setting up your own nameserver at the
same time you set up the rest of your site is a bit like trying to
lift yourself by your bootstraps.

I registered my sites with a service called ZoneEdit -- it has a
common-sense web interface (which could no doubt be improved by
some of the folks here :-)) and it's free, as long as you don't
get too greedy in terms of number of sites or amount of activity;
see <www.zoneedit.com>. Another good idea is to cut NetSol
out of the picture and register with someone -- ANYONE -- else.
I went with DomainBank <www.nic.com> on the recommendation
of someone I've been netting with since 1992. You can get cheaper
rates, but I'm satisfied. They'll happily peel you away from
NetSol, and register your nameservers too.

You are probably past this point already, but there's an overview
of "what is a registry? and what is DNS?" at my tutorial site:

	http://handsonhowto.com/dns101.html

It also includes a print-and-save one-page .pdf overview (in case
you have to explain things to an executive).

I'm taking you at your word! :-)
