[thelist] Replicating IFRAME Tag in Netscape

I tried this using <layer src="mypdf.pdf></layer> in Netscape 4.7 and I
got:
"Alert! did not find a converter or decoder"
Any ideas? I also tried using the <ILAYER> tag. Netscape's documentation
says the "src" attribute must be an HTML source.
Netscape Documentation...
http://developer.netscape.com/docs/manuals/htmlguid/tags12.htm
SRC="file"
specifies the pathname of a file that contains HTML-formatted content
for the layer.
This must be possible somehow in Netscape without loosing the top and
bottom template of my web page. I would like the PDF to open up in the
middle of the page. I cannot use FRAMES...not Section 508 compliant. Any
help would be great!
