I had the same problem. I had to hand script the ODBC connection in the web code. If you use a Data environment or any of the canned objects, the 2000 IIS server will choke on them. Hand script the ODBC database connections in your code and the problem will most likely go away. Brian W. I ran this through PWS on a windows 98 Machine without any problems and the whole thing was running sweet as a nut. I then came to transfer it to one of our servers which is running windows 2000 server, and that is where my problem began.... The problem I have is that the pages including the ODBC links either won't show up at all, or do, just pulling no information. I have managed to verify that the ODBC Data Source is set up correctly (by using MS Query to connect to it and retrieve the data), but unfortunately I am now a little stuck as to what is causing the problem - anyone got any ideas? I've tried the various ideas that you guys have thrown at me - the IUSR_<servername> permissions, checking the properties on the database etc. to no avail - has anyone got any more ideas? --------------------------------------- For unsubscribe and other options, including the Tip Harvester and archive of TheList go to: http://lists.evolt.org Workers of the Web, evolt !
