If you're on a budget and running NT, take a look at Microsoft Windows Media
Products.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/en/developers/default.asp
They have Server Software for Streaming, and Encoding/Producer tools, and
examples on how to embed the files. Best of all its in our price range
FREE.

Subject: [thelist] Embedding Video

Hi

I've got an Intranet.

I want to run some video right in the page.

What are my best options?

I'm IE5.5 specific on winNT

I have tried <.embed> and <.dynsrc> but I'm wondering if there's a
better way?

I'm also wondering about streaming Video, anyone know of an open source
set up for encoding and serving streamed video? (I've got limited
budget!)

Thanks in advance

Tony
