[thelist] SQL select help

I am in a bit of a bind.  I need to do something I thought would be
straightforward until I actually started to code it.  I need to perform a select
on a table, ie:

select * from products where categoryid=7

I then need to return one single random record from that result set for use.
Any thoughts on the best way to do this?
