[thelist] Installing apache on win2000

I am installing apache server because I thought it was necessary if I want
to use php. Is it essential?

Either nothing, or whatever your network suffix is set to under
Local Area Connection/TCPIP

Your email address.

In case you didn't already know, you you can install IIS
on Win2k.  It's under Control Panel/Add/Remove Programs/Windows
Components.
