Hey, 'poring over' is perfect; I wouldn't change it!
Sadly, although I like the font/monkey themselves, they both look out of
place in your plush lobby look. I'd go for (perhaps) a font that looks
computerish or techy, and a 'new and improved' monkey dressed as a lab
scientist - white smock, glasses, clipboard and pen (maybe in his spare time
he does experiments on humans, but you don't have to show that.)

Thanks for the heads up on the grammatical error. I didn't even realize
that "poring" was a word. The more I stare at it, the more it becomes
completely nonsensical. It seems like such a strange word (maybe it's my
lack of sleep!). So I replaced it with "digging thru", rather than "poring
over".
In any case, thanks for the feedback on the logo. What direction do you
think I should go? Is it the chunky font or the whimsical monkey that seems
incongruent with the rest of the site? I do like the monkey...I've grown
rather attached.
Any ideas?
