Agree. The only one I comply with is the last one, but I admit I'm
old-fashioned in that respect (and behind a simple 56K modem at home). But
if you really, really have a splendid 100K animation that's actually good
for something, OK, why not put it in your pages?

Even there you'll find people who disagree (marketeers, for instance).
Thanks for the support, BTW (and Chris too). I'm more used to getting flames
than agreement after a statement like that. (But I admit I like making
statements like that, it forces people to think for themselves).
