[thelist] Readonly select boxes Netscape

I need to disable select boxes in Netscape 4.x.  The best I've been able to
come up with is to use onfocus="this.blur();", but it isn't very clean,
because the when you click you see the outline of the dropdown even though
you can't change it.

Any ideas?
