dont post the contents of virus's to thelist.. a lot of email virus 
scanners look at the content of the message to sometimes decide if it is 
or isn't a virus.. if they find a certain amount of text that matchs( 
hola, como esta!) they block the message from the person it was intended 
for and send an automated nasty-gram to the 'person' that sent it, in 
this case, thelist-admin at lists.evolt.org :)

iptraf is a nice little command line utility that allows you to monitor 
interfaces on your linux box, and provides a frontend to tcpdump. it 
allows you to view and sort by packet size, destination/source port, 
interface, protocol and more.

nice tool for every firewall admins belt :)
