Sorry, the SWF is a compact deliverable file format, and does not have all
the authoring constructs that you'd find in a FLA file. (It's sort of like
how a compressed JPG does not have all the authoring constructs you'd find
in a Photoshop PSD file.)

If you'd like to edit the SWF, then the client should contract with the
original author for the source files to do so.
