Old thread, it's amazing how many people read does not SHIP WITH the
same as does not SUPPORT. It would be a sorry old browser that wasn't
able to run a java applet. As the M$ article points out - if you run
into a web page that your browser doesn't have the plug- in for, your
browser will be asked to download it. Works for lots of plug-ins besides
java too. You probably already have what you need on your machine
anyways, so it doesn't matter if it comes with the latest M$ browser.
