Since we're talking about file sharing in W2K.
Does anybody know how to enable file sharing in between to Win2K
machines on a simple home network without having NetBIOS enabled?
It seems to be possible according to this MSKB article, but I haven't
managed to make it work.

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q204/2/79.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0&qry=Sharing%20NetBIOS&rnk=5&src=DHCS_MSPSS_gn_SRCH&SPR=WIN2000

[URL may wrap, you'll probably need to cut and paste it]
KB article: Q204279

Thanks for any advice.

Julian
