Joshua: Mouse events definitely do fire in Netscape 6.x -- I believe this feature is part of the DOM 2, which Mozilla/Netscape 6 support pretty well. It also works in Opera 5.x, only Navigator 4.x remains comatose (as usual). HTH Rob Redford mailto:rob%creativestream.net
