All valid concerns, and the switching of DOMs is yet another one.

I assure you that they exist. In fact, I was happy to find one 
Linux/Netscaper who was actually content with NN6 just a month ago. 
Otherwise all Netscapers I've talked to are pretty negative about NN6.

But it adheres to the Principle of Browser Conservatism by still supporting 
EMBED, so this only backs up my theory. (They should support OBJECT too, 
though, I agree with that).
