FWIW -- and I know I'm not exactly an unbiased party -- Mac OS 10.1 is 
really nice. 10.0.x was buggy and pretty pokey, but I'm very happy with 
10.1. Still some problems getting print drivers that work, but I love 
having the UNIX shell and the nice GUI. On my G3 400MHz Powerbook with 
256 MB RAM, it's pretty quick, even when running in classic mode.
