[thelist] Pixel line not displayed in Netscape

Netscape 4.x won't render anything in the background of a table cell unless
there's some content in the table cell.

I tend to place the image that creates the background of the table cell in
the table cell, so the cell will be forced to be large enough to hold the
background.

Like:
<td rowspan="8" width="1" background="webimages/pixelgray.gif">
<img src="webimages/pixelgray.gif" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="">
</td>
