I'm looking for a HTTP/S COM object that lets me talk to a remote Web 
Server via ASP or VBS.

MS has a component called winHTTP that is currently in Beta ("Technology 
Preview").

Is there a COM object standard in the Mix of the IIS 5 and Win2K that will 
fit my needs or should I be digging for a third party component?

Thoughts, ideas, cookie recipes?
