Uh, let's stop and define "code" here; there's HTML, CSS, and JSP*.

Yep, and that's only one reason I don't use "Dreamweaver or whatever";
all my HTML and CSS is done by hand in emacs. Sure, I'll iteratively 
consolidate styles/classes and validate and whatnot as I go, but it's 
all basically ready to go live at the end of the prototyping.

Honest, this is *not* rocket science. or difficult. Just Say No to 
WYSIWYG editors :-)  

The JSP stuff - some of it swaps right over without any changes,
(yay!) and some doesn't (awww). C'est la vie -- you're still ahead.
