I think that's a pretty poor attitude, for a couple of reasons:

1. Why completely stop a (albeit small) section of your audience from
viewing your site for no reason? I'm willing to bet there is nothing
fundamentally wrong. To just not bother to investigate seems like
laziness when you can download Opera for free and check for your self.

2. Often problems one a particular browser are a result of real problems
in the code. Just because some browsers are forgiving doesn't mean they
all are (or will be). Getting it right now will help ensure your designs
won't break in future browser releases. Have you tried validating your
code? Maybe the problem isn't with Opera at all...
