That "sneaky" technique has been known for so long that many search engines
will penalise your site heavily for using it. Techniques like that are
called "spamdexing" i.e., spamming a search engine index. The search engine
may also decide not to list your site at all if you use such tricks.
So before you try it, remember that you may be doing more harm than good.
