it's worth noting that i don't want a server-side solution... my 
problem comes *after* the page has been served, and is partly 
based on security settings -- the browser *can* run Flash, but the 
user has it disabled... therefore, even a check through browscap.ini 
or any other method would have said the browser is good to show 
Flash....

so, i don't need what Olly needs, i need a client-side solution that 
degrades, preferrably with no script...
