That's ambiguous: even if you want to build your own apache / php
system, don't feel too embarrassed about downloading mysql as a
binary. The max builds are quite nice too, download one and have a
play with BDB tables, etc... Even building a standard mysql can be
hairy if you want a decent level of performance (ie, compile, test,
reconfigure, compile, test, reconfigure, compile test.... ). They've
already done this work, so why do it again?
