I'll throw in a recommendation for the NuSphere installer. You can
download it free from their site after signing in. Very slick and easy.

FYI -- NuSphere isn't the favorite of some in the OSS community right
now, including the folks at MySQL AB.

Also, their PHP IDE, PHPEd, is really, really good.

I tried their eval version of PHPEd, very detailed and and excellent editor, 
and "two thumbs up" for their installer, which is, oddly enough, web browser 
based. It installed everything, and I mean EVERYTHING :

Apache
mySQL
PHP
a whole bunch of other stuff.

Still haven't found the time to completely wade through PHPEd (its quite 
complex, the initial screen itself is an exercise in real estate 
management). When I am finished, I hope to write a review of it (unless 
someone already has).
