Also worth mentioning that you have to be on the internet (or on a network) 
for ASP pages to be served.

What URL are you using? Does it say file: or http:??

Try this: http://localhost/test.asp

Make sure that localhost is in the "hosts" table. 
c:\winnt\system32\drivers\ect

127.0.0.1       localhost
