AFAIK, it's not possible to alter that setting in a web page (unless 
through an activex control, not 100% certain there).

Remember, it's not just IE that uses this setting. Outlook Express, Eudora, 
NeoPlanet, and many other applications like to change it. (It took me a few 
days of scratching my head before I realised that Eudora was continuously 
setting my IE font size to smallest.)
