[thelist] site header and logo (fwd)

Something about the swooping curve in the second one appeals to me. After a
minute, it's almost obvious it's just a cutout for the logo, but at first it
looks like a design element.

We have the same issue, and we've always just lived with the great expanses
of whiteness. I like this idea better.
