Is there a way that IE 5.x and 6.x can block URLs that are defined with
a wildcard pattern? For example, can it be set to block all URLs that
start with "http://ad." ?

And if it *can* do that, does IE first open the window (if it *is* sent
to a popup window) and *then* block the content, or does it first see
the URL and then prevent the window from opening in the first place?

Hope this makes sense. Any help is grandly appreciated.
