Hi Aardie,


I hesitated to chime in earlier ... cuz this is kind of a wacky guess
...

Some network printers are setup to always print a 'header' page, which
acts as a kind of separator for shared printers in an office environment
- if you print an email to that printer it spits out a 1st page that
says "for Aardvark" - if I print an email to that printer it spits out a
1st page that says "for RonL." -- that kind of thing.

I probably way off base - I'm not a 'hardware' type at all ... but I
thought I would mention it in case it spurs someone else to think of
something similar in the printer config that could be the culprit.

(Who sometimes gets blank pages or 'garbage' if his doofus printer runs
out of memory -- generally on a graphically intensive page.)
