PHP is installed with the consumer (ie: desktop) version as well although
it's not compiled with too many modules. One way to get a more powerful
version is to head over to <http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/>
and follow te instructions there.

You can also pick up MySQL from the same site.

And go and check out Morb's little article on oreilly.net as well, well
worth a read *:)
