as long as we're talking CSS forms:

i was trying something like this:

	<input type=text style="border: solid 1px red;">

but, in NN 4*, I get a normal text field, followed by a small (5px?) square 
box with a red 1px border. I was hoping that then attribute would be 
ignored by netscape -- i can't have a floating random box on the page 
(plus, it messes with the layout).

I tried using classes, using border-width:thin, using non-grouped border 
attributes and the like, but always the same outcome.
