[thelist] x-small

Hi Peter -

I too use x-small, small, medium, etc. in my stylesheets because users can resize the text as they please. However, many users don't even know enough to do that. So, to be sure text is as readable as possible, I use medium or small for the main portions of text 'cause of Netscape displaying fonts smaller than I.E. I'll use x-small for things like "contact webmaster" at the bottom of a page or "View Shopping Cart" as a textual link below a self-explanatory graphic. Perhaps even "Privacy Policy" too. Stuff like that that I don't want to "give equal impact to" or take away from the content of the message ... but that still needs to be there.

Hope this helps.

Sharon
