[thelist] tri state glyphs for buttons netshift interface builder

hello all,

am currently developing a stand alone kiosk with touch screen. I am using an
evalutaion copy of NetShift's Interface Builder.

I am creating tri-state-glyphs for use on the buttons states (inactive,
unavailable, and active). I know that all relevant states need to be
included in a single image and that if the image is larger than the button
size you don't get the button outline in run mode, which is what i want. The
inactive and unavailable states are fine but the active state (when pressed)
displays the relevant images with a strip down the left hand side of the
button.

Does anyone know how i can get rid of this so that no button box elements
are shown in any of the three states?

Or can anybody tell me where the third (active) state takes its referenc
point from in the original picture.

Please, it's driving me crackers (was hoping this would be easy to solve and
that i could use it as a tip, but hey ho, it wasn't to be!!)

tia

fireworks">

if, like me, you use fireworks to rough out interface layouts, AND you don't
like saving ALL the effects variations you try until you decide on the one
you want to use, consider pressing Alt + Print Screen when the effects
window is active and then paste this into a separate frame. this little
window will act as a reference to all the effect's properties you have used.
