Always quote the attributes of tags in your HTML. Even if you are
generating the HTML server side with Response.Write (ASP), still find a way
to make the resulting HTML quote the tag attributes. Your mama will love
you for it. :)
No, seriously though, you'll see the benefit when programming dynamic HTML
that allows the user to provide information for the ALT, TITLE, ETC
attributes. The user will invariably enter a two word statement, on with an
apostrophe, etc. Quoting your attributes will help in both cases. If you
think they may put a quote into their string, make sure the resulting HTML
is correct.
