I document my HTML with comments... and the programmer strips them out. Last
week I met with my boss to paln out this year, and one project I emphasized
was a super-comprehensive, ultra-easy-to-follow style guide. This was met
with, "why do we need that for? You know what colors you use."
Oof.

While it may seem tedious at the start, get into the habit of documenting as
you go along by jotting notes as you code. At the end of the day (or week)
transcribe these notes for later use in the style guide. (This is also a
good Friday-at-3-pm job.) Not only will you have a more comprehensive final
document, but the job will be less daunting and the task less onerous.
