[thelist] writing to an ACT database

Hello folks,

A potential client of mine (small brochure site) wants to have a contact
form on their site so that they  into their ACT database.
I've never used ACT but she mentioned something about the script writing to
a file they could import into ACT. before I bug the ACT people with stupid
questions I'd like to bug you guys.

Seems simple but things are never simple. Does anyone have any experience
with this and what do I need to know?
