Right. And, when driving, "all turns and lanes changes shall be proceeded by
the use of a turn signal to indicate the driver's intentions".
Rules are great and all - they make things "easier" when people follow them,
but a lot of people are just too lazy (or preoccupied) to follow them.
The previous thread (and *all* of my time at evolt) has made me want to
follow the rules of HTML more. There must be hope for me, since I signal
even when I'm the only car on the road.

You can modify the tags that Dreamweaver writes to make them xhtml
compliant.
Example - to change the default <img> tag, open this file:
Dreamweaver 4/Configuration/Objects/Common/image.js
and add the ' /' just before the end of the tag, and you can also add
'alt=""' among other things.
Like so:
return '<img src="' + newURL + '" alt="" />'
Warning: always back up your default configs first.
