I found the following e-Booklet at Amzaon's e-book page.

"Really Bad PowerPoint (and how to avoid it)" is a ten page (or so)
e-booklet by Seth Godin (http://sethgodin.com).

He discusses very simply why most PowerPoint presentations suck and how to
improve them.

Ignoring the specific focus on PowerPoint, you will find it has some great
lessons on effective communication.

Better yet, Mr. Godin is donating proceeds to charity, and allows/encourages
free redistribution of his materials.
