[thelist] recommendations on web-based email service providers (and BigMailBox.com)

I have been wanting to provide web-based email services on a local
country domain that I have registered (email.com.pk) and anticipate a
large number of users. However, I do not have the capital, nor enough
expertise to setup my own service, hence I turn to you guys for anything
you can throw at me.

Are there any good web-based email service providers who are free or
have partnership agreements (all I can offer is the domain name) ? Any
services you may have used or you might consider useful for my purposes
?

I found BigMailBox.com to be a good contender, however, I am not certain
of their services. They do not look too professional and their only
revenue model is banner ads (I am speculating their paid subscribers
aren't too many) and recently many companies with banner ads have been
going belly-up, but that's just my opinion.

thanks,
