The company will probably hire from this group and then lean on me to bring
them along, that was the inclination I got yesterday. I suggested taking in
a few more applicants, but it seems to be a consensus that entry level
folks are the ones looking for employment, not senior developers. My
argument is that we are not looking for a sr. developer, but we are looking
for a passing grade on the exam by an entry level person.

Do you have any of these tests with and w/out answers, as I would be
very interested in gauging my knowledge. It would help me alot to be
able to know that I have the right skills/knowledge for 'such and
such' a job. Or do you know of somewhere I can test myself on
skill/knowlege ability.

I know that there should be some tests out there, but I have searched and
found nothing that relevantly addresses folks by skill level. The test is
either too general knowledge, or is a senior level test. I am going to keep
looking though. In house I have asked our IT people to develop both
entry-level and intermediate-level tests for their areas of expertise.
After these are refined I will offer them to the evolt community.
