[thelist] uploading binaries in php/mysql

Hey everyone, quick question. I've been doing a bit of
experimentation/programing using a members.evolt.org account. I've been
trying to store and serve images from the mysql database using php, and for
some reason I can't seem to get at the files after they are uploaded. I've
tried the global constants($userfile, $userfile_name, etcyes I know the name
of the file is the name of the input form field you use to upload it)
and $_FILES, and neither of them works. I can't seem to open the temporary
files. I'm thinking this is a permissions issue, i.e. I'm not allowed to
access the folder temporary files are stored in. Any ideas?
